Sited opposite the iconic Harrods building in Knightsbridge, this recently completed residential contemporary building was designed to sit within a contextually rich area with an understated aesthetic whilst establishing a strong presence to the Hans Crescent and Basil Street corner.

PDP London worked with Imperial College with the aim to provide an exemplary sustainable residential development in an urban location in a spatially demanding site and location whilst respecting the context of the setting within the Pembridge Conservation Area.

Marion Baeli was project architect of PDP London’s 100 Princedale Road project, the first PassivHaus certified residential retrofit in the UK – one of the Retrofit for the Future programme project. This led her to author ‘Residential Retrofit: Twenty Case Studies’, an RIBA publication that presents a series of innovative and best practice case studies of residential low energy retrofit projects, and illustrates what has been achieved in practice in the UK.
