In a nation-wide design competition, teams of developers and architects were tasked with redeveloping the former Daimyo elementary school site in central Fukuoka as part of the Tenjin Big Bang project, a project aimed at making Fukuoka an Asian Business hub.

PDP London is delighted to be able to share exterior images of Phase 2 of the prestigious Chelsea Barracks development for Qatari Diar.
Phase 2 comprises two terraces of family townhouses around the linear garden squares created in the north eastern part of the site. The terraces comprise 7 and 6 houses respectively. The 13 buildings reintroduce the idea of the London townhouse and express a new architectural language as graceful and as resonant of its location as its distinguished antecedent, with cues taken from the garden square and terraces of Georgian-era London.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Interior Designer Hannah Carter Owers, adding excellent capability in interiors, to complement architecture, urban design and masterplanning.
Hannah has over 20 years' experience of delivering immersive, bespoke spaces for globally renowned developers, retailers, hoteliers and private clients. She has worked successfully across sectors from hospitality, retail and exhibitions, to offices and homes.
Her achievements include numerous award winning projects, for clients ranging from At Six Hotel, Sellar and Knight Dragon and British Airways, to Fortnum and Mason, Selfridges and Mulberry.
The team from PDP London has been busy getting ready for the festive season by designing, sketching, baking, icing (and maybe tasting) gingerbread for our entry into this year's Museum of Architecture's Gingerbread City.
In June, the City of Madrid announced an international contest for a £9.6 million overhaul of the abandoned Beti Jai pelota arena in the city. The aim of the competition was to select a team to restore and re-imagine the disused venue, known locally as a fronton, which hasn't hosted a match for almost a century.

Situated in Happy Valley, Hong Kong, Resiglow is a chic, urban loft-inspired apartment building. The brief was to deliver a clean, uncluttered design language, in a stylish palette of black and white with tactile, textural finishes.
