25 Castlereagh Street
PDP London was commissioned to provide 10 upper/mid range apartments and houses for rental. The aim was to bring a ‘valueless’ asset back into income-generating use and act as a regeneration catalyst in this part of the Portman Estate.
Eight 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments over 4 storeys and two 2 storey mews houses provide approximately 1,000 sqm GIA. All units have private external space in the form of terraces or balconies and are dual aspect.
Code 4 level sustainability features include on-site renewable energy source (PVs). Green roofs on the rear houses with ‘meadow’ planting, provide a landscaped outlook from within the development as well as for surrounding properties.
