PDP London’s Hong Kong Studio were responsible for the architectural and interior design concept and delivery. The brief was to deliver a clean, uncluttered design language, in a stylish palette of black and white with tactile, textural finishes.
PDP London was appointed as masterplan architect for this new 750ha, $900m investment resort in western Cuba, after winning an international competition with a collaboration between PDP London and DSC Group. The proposed development at Punta Colorada presents a unique opportunity to create one of the world’s finest golf destinations at the heart of a luxurious tropical resort. At the centre of the development, four 9-hole golf courses will allow visitors to create their own 18-hole course from any combination they choose. The central golf club will provide the spatial link between the four distinct golf experiences on offer—along with great views, food, drink, and relaxation.
This project involved the refurbishment of an existing tower podium facade in the Wanchai area of Hong Kong Island. There are two street level commercial units either side of the main lobby entrance. The upper podium levels are occupied by car parking. PDP London's Hong Kong Studio was asked to design a new podium facade while working in conjunction with the interior designer appointed for the entrance lobby.
The 'Grand Garden' project is the major renovation of an existing residential estate in the Southern District of Hong Kong Island. The Client appointed PDP London to develop refurbishment schemes for the podium areas for Phase 2 of the project, including all exteriors and landscape, internal common spaces - inclusive of the clubhouse and residential tower lobbies - and signage.

PDP London's Hong Kong Studio was appointed as design and interior architects for two executive houses on the south side of Lantau Island, in close proximity to Cheung Sha beach. Sitting at just under 20 metres above sea level and right on the coast line, the houses offer fabulous, unobstructed views over the South China Sea.
The design is defined by its floating box concept. The frameless corner sliding doors in the main living area and the slender round column that supports the upper floor volume enhance the open and light design of the ground floor spaces, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside.

The scheme provides 59 duplex apartments including two penultimate and one penthouse apartment with unit sizes ranging from 300sqm to 550sqm aimed at the high-end local market.

While the value of the site could be maximised by achieving the required GFA , the developer was keen to also explore the design of the houses in detail, even at this early stage, to test what premium this could achieve in this area.

A scheme was devised to give a luxurious branding to the development that worked with existing tight constraints.
